Detailed T Visa guide was useful

I used the T Visa screening and then went through their T Visa guide. The screening tool gave a good initial idea, and the guide really broke down the requirements and process. It didn't provide a lawyer, but it pointed me to where I could find legal aid. The legal rights education section was also quite informative. It took me a bit to read through everything, but it was thorough. Overall, it helped me understand what steps I need to take next.

Reliable info, as always

This isn't my first time using Immi. I've used their legal referral network before and this time I checked out their family-based immigration resources. It's consistently reliable, giving clear, unbiased information. That's why I keep coming back; I know I can trust what they provide. The information is always up-to-date, which is important for immigration stuff.

Got info on DACA

I was looking for some info on DACA renewal and stumbled upon Immi. Their DACA status guide was pretty straightforward. It just laid out the steps and what I needed to know. It made things a little less confusing, which was cool.

Good for checking options

I used the immigration options screening tool. It was free, which was great since I'm on a tight budget. It helped me understand some basics without paying for a consultation. It felt worth the time I spent using it.

So helpful, will use again!

I tried the asylum eligibility check and it was so clear and easy to understand! This platform is truly a lifesaver for people needing information. I'm telling everyone I know about this. I'll definitely be back to check out more of their resources, maybe the citizenship info next!

how accurate is the screening tool for DACA renewals? trying to figure out if it's worth my time to go through it.

M Matt B. 2 weeks ago
I used it for DACA stuff a few months ago. It seemed pretty accurate for eligibility, and then it pointed me to some non-profits that help with renewals. It's a good place to start.

It's not a lawyer, so it can't tell you 'yes you will get DACA'. But it gives you a solid idea of where you stand based on the info you provide. Definitely worth the time.

Is my personal info safe if I use their screening tool? Kinda nervous about putting sensitive stuff out there.

A Aaron Hernandez 1 week ago
They say it's private and they don't share with the government. I think that's their whole deal, being a trusted resource. I haven't heard anything bad about their data privacy.

I looked into this too. They're pretty clear about not being a government entity and not sharing your data. It's confidential, which is why a lot of people use it.

Is this whole Immi thing actually free? Like for real free, or are there hidden costs later on after the screening?

A Ashley 1 week ago
Yeah, it's really free. I used their asylum screener last year and never got asked for money. The info they give you is just info.

They're a non-profit, so they're not trying to sell you anything. They connect you with legal aid or pro bono lawyers if you need actual help, but the tools on their site are free.

Heard about Immi, but wondering how it stacks up against something like Boundless or Informed Immigrant. Anyone used both and have a preference?

K Kevin A. 2 days ago
I've looked at Informed Immigrant before, and Immi feels more like a starting point to understand your options, then points you to help. Boundless is more hands-on if you're ready to file stuff, but that costs money.

Immi is good for just getting a lay of the land without pressure. It's not a direct competitor to those other sites if you're looking for actual legal representation, more like a first step.

Can Immi help with specific questions about my asylum case, or is it more general info?

D Daniel Taylor 3 weeks ago
It's more general info and eligibility checks. It won't give you legal advice specific to your case, but it can tell you if you likely qualify and then refer you to lawyers who can help.

S Sam J. 3 weeks ago
Think of it as a guide. It helps you understand what options might be open to you and then connects you with places that can actually represent you. You'd need a lawyer for case-specific stuff.
